Feature Drop is a quarterly upgrade that Google provides to Pixel users. These updates add new features and improve the user experience without the need to wait for a new Android version to be released.

With its most recent upgrade in March 2022, the Pixel’s future Feature Drops will not only deliver new functionality but will also warn users about the changes, according to a report.

Google’s ongoing efforts to improve the user experience will keep users informed about all new Pixel Feature Drops modifications every three months.

The news was initially revealed on Twitter by Mishaal Rahman of Esperdev, who also released screenshots of how Google intends to notify users in the future. Google will take its users on a tour that will include a look at all of the new features that have been added to Google’s Android apps.

While the service has not yet been pushed out globally, the screenshots given by Rahman provide a quick tour of how Google intends to assure the deployment of new upgrades with each Pixel Feature Drop. Users will be able to see the updates when they first access the Play Store shortly after the upgrade.

However, a number of Twitter users responded to the tweet, pointing out that this option has been available for quite some time. A user claimed to have first received such an update on January 30 this year, just after the emoji hub launched new symbols for dog lovers and present givers, by sharing a screenshot of such claims. While some users may have already noticed these cards, there has been no word on when the feature would be available to all existing customers. It’ll most likely be included in the next major Play Services update.

If the user does not want to read about the latest features, Google also gives them the option of skipping through these cards. Google improved the recorder app, widgets, and custom text stickers and introduced new wallpapers in its March Pixel Feature Drop.
