From June 6 to 10, Apple will convene its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in an online format, which will be open to all developers. WWDC22 will feature the newest advancements in iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS, while offering developers access to Apple experts and technologies to learn how to create revolutionary apps and interactive experiences, building on the success of the last two years of virtual events.

Apple’s growing worldwide community of over 30 million developers will gain insight and access to the technology and tools they need to turn their ideas into reality at WWDC22. This year’s schedule will include more information sessions, cutting-edge learning laboratories, digital lounges to engage with guests, and localized material to make WWDC22 a truly global event, in addition to the announcements made during the keynote and State of the Union presentations.
Along with the online community, Apple will organize a special day for developers and students on June 6 at Apple Park to view the keynote and State of the Union videos together. There will be a limited number of places available, and information on how to apply will be available soon on the Apple Developer site and app.
Apple’s Swift Student Challenge, now in its third year, will support students who enjoy coding. Swift Playgrounds is a groundbreaking iPad and Mac app that makes learning the Swift programming language interactive and enjoyable. Students from all over the world are asked to participate in this year’s challenge by creating a Swift Playgrounds app project on a topic of their choice and submitting it by April 25.
