With this agreement, eBay brings together its worldwide reach and unrivalled inventory and OneOf’s eco-friendly Web3 technology to provide a seamless experience that allows enthusiasts to confidently buy and sell high-passion and high-value items.

eBay’s first-ever “Genesis” NFT Collection will contain 3D and animated renderings of great sportsmen featured on Sports Illustrated covers over the years, the first available beginning today at eBay.com/oneofgretzkynft – features Canadian hockey legend Wayne Gretzky.
“Being on the cover of Sports Illustrated forty years ago was a tremendous milestone in my life,” Wayne Gretzky, Sportsman of the Year, says. “It’s an honor to be able to provide this collectible experience to my long-time hockey fans.”
The collection features thirteen limited-edition digital collectibles in the green, gold, platinum, and diamond tiers, ranging from 299 editions in the green tier to only 15 editions in the diamond tier.
Each NFT comprises a 3D depiction or animation of Gretzky making a famous move on the ice, with prices starting at $10 for the ordinary fan. Additional drops of OneOf’s sports heroes NFT series, reinterpreting iconic Sports Illustrated cover in the era of Web3, will cooperate with eBay throughout 2022.
This is the first time eBay and an NFT seller have collaborated.
