Apple announced the keynote and Platforms State of the Union speakers for its annual Worldwide Developers Conference today, as well as further details about what developers will learn and experience. WWDC22 is a free event for all developers to learn about the latest technologies, tools, and frameworks coming to iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS. Throughout the week, developers will have the opportunity to meet with Apple engineers and designers in labs and Digital Lounges for advice on developing unique and platform-differentiating apps and games.
Apple Keynote

WWDC22 kicks off with a sneak peek at major updates coming to Apple platforms later this year. The keynote presentation will be broadcast live and on-demand on the Apple website, the Apple Developer app, the Apple TV app, and YouTube.
Platforms State of the Union

With a deeper look into the new tools, technologies, and developments across Apple platforms, developers will learn how to take their apps to the next level. The Apple Developer app and website will both stream State of the Union.
Apple Design Awards
June 6, 5 p.m. PDT
Each year, the Apple Design Awards honor and promote Apple developers’ art, craft, inventiveness, and technological ability. The Apple Design Awards will be broadcast live on the Apple Developer app and website.
Access to Experts
WWDC22 brings together the latest tools and technologies to allow developers to learn how to create the next generation of apps, with over 150 in-depth session recordings. Members of the Apple Developer Program, Apple Developer Enterprise Program, and 2022 Swift Student Challenge grant holders can schedule one-on-one lab visits with Apple professionals for advice on adopting new technologies, following best practices, and designing their apps.
Daily session videos will be available on the Apple Developer app and the Apple Developer website starting June 7.
Activities
Apple engineers and designers will organize events in Digital Lounges all week to assist developers in engaging in technical discussions, getting answers to their queries, interacting with the community, and seminars and lab consult. Participate in a coding or design challenge, ask questions in a Q&A, meet the session presenters, and more.
Swift Student Challenge
Apple continues to honor student developers worldwide by announcing the Swift Student Challenge winners today. Students of all ages can participate in the event by designing their own Swift Playgrounds app project to show off their coding skills.
Developer App
The Apple Developer app is an excellent way to experience WWDC22 on your Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV with daily updates and notifications on the latest news, content, and activities. Developers can search for material by topic, sign up for Digital Lounges and one-on-one lab consultations, share videos with their peers via SharePlay, copy code directly from session recordings, read feature stories, etc.
